Students in Mrs. Stone’s third grade class learned how airplanes fly—and why they can’t fly to space! In the activity, they learned about the “V-Wing” Glider. Students got to build and launch their own paper airplanes. Based on their tests, they were able to adjust their designs to try to make it stay in the air longer. Students took turns to be pilots and the Watchtower.
