Canyon Crest Elementary School

Our Sixth Graders were visited by Jazmin Gallegos, K-12 Education Specialist, from the University of Utah Marriott Library Book Arts Program. She brought a treasure chest of artifacts to help students learn about written forms of  language from cuneiform tablets and oriental scrolls, to modern technology.  Sixth graders got to hold original artifacts and facsimiles of others, plus they used Egyptian hieroglyphics to write their names on papyrus. What a treat!
