NewsJust like our holiday gift shopping, we are late in sharing our December 2022/January 2023 message. 🙂 As we look forward to a new calendar year, we often consider resolutions for the new year.
We value the positive impact effective goal-setting has. Our teachers have worked with students to set personal reading achievement goals. As we move forward with our middle-of-year reading assessment, we are discovering that many of our students are making meaningful gains in their reading outcomes – so exciting! Congratulations to our students who have worked hard to make progress towards their goals!
As you reflect on your hopes for 2023, we invite you to consider how to elevate your child’s overall school experience. Maybe it is getting your child to school on time. Maybe it is having a system in place at home that ensures your child reads for at least 20-30 minutes per day. Maybe it is encouraging ROAR behavior at home (respect, ownership, attitude, responsibility). Whatever your resolutions are, we hope that you will let us know how we can partner with you to provide support.
