Elementary students district-wide clashed under the bright lights of Provo High School’s auditorium during the 2022 Battle of the Books Finals.

Students worked in teams divided by 3rd – 4th grade and 5th – 6th grade, awaiting a slew of questions about books they read before the challenge. The questions are tricky; some questions are about secondary and tertiary characters, while other questions deal with unique points of plot that only close-readers will catch. All of the students gave their best to prepare for tonight.

The teams on stage proved their mettle in earlier school battles. The top teams from each school’s local battle represent their school on this night for the finals. All of the participating students deserve praise.
