Please note the following weekly announcements,

1. THIS WEEK – STUDENT EDUCATOR PARENT (SEP) CONFERENCES Sign-up for Student Educator Parent (SEP) Conferences!
   • SEPs are THIS week -Wednesday, February 26 -Thursday, February 27 -Friday, February 28 Students will have early release at 1:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday and at 1:50pm on Friday.
   • Para inscribirse en una conferencia SEP con el profesor de su hijo, siga las siguientes instrucciones.
     1. Los padres pueden programar una conferencia SEP utilizando la plataforma Online Scheduler. Por favor vaya al siguiente enlace: Enlace de inscripción a la Conferencia SEP
     2. Seleccione Canyon Crest en el menú desplegable Escuelas primarias y haga clic en "Ir".
     3. Introduzca la contraseña de la escuela: cubs (todo en minúsculas) y haga clic en "Iniciar sesión".
     4. Introduzca el número de identificación de estudiante de su hijo y haga clic en "Ir". A continuación, verifique la fecha de nacimiento de su hijo y haga clic en "Ir". En la página siguiente, haga clic en la casilla del profesor con el que desea reunirse. También se le preguntará si desea programar conferencias para otro estudiante si tiene más de un hijo en nuestra escuela. Si hace clic en "Sí", podrá añadir más alumnos. Si hace clic en "No", pasará a la página siguiente.
     5. Una vez en la página siguiente, puede programar horas para reunirse con el profesor de su hijo. Después de seleccionar las fechas/horas, asegúrese de hacer clic en "Submit Times" en la parte inferior de la página.
     6. Type your email address on the next page to receive a confirmation email and click “Make All Appointments.” Please also note the following:
   • Generally, most SEP conferences will be held in 20 minute intervals. For students in the DLI program, 10 minutes will be allocated for the English DLI teacher and 10 minutes for the Spanish DLI teacher. However, based on each grade level’s individual circumstances (e.g., enrollment numbers), there may be slight adjustments to the meeting schedule. We ask that you please be attentive of your start and end time. Our teachers have many parents/guardians to meet with.
   • If you are divorced or separated and you prefer to meet with your child’s teacher separately, please reach out to your child’s teacher directly through email to schedule a meeting date/time. The Online Scheduler will only allow one appointment per student. -If you prefer to have your meeting via Zoom, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher to get that set up.
   • We kindly ask that all parents participate in SEP conferences. If you cannot find a date/time that works for your schedule, please contact your child’s teacher directly to find another date/time that will work to have a SEP conference. If you need any assistance setting up a conference please reach out to your child’s teacher.
2. OBJETOS PERDIDOS All Lost & Found items will be in the main foyer during SEP Conferences this week. Please take a moment to look through it when you come. All items will be donated after this week.
3. EXTRA CURRICULUM BOOKS During SEP Conferences we will have extra curriculum resources and materials in the main foyer up-for-grabs. These materials could be used to help your child practice academic skills over the summer months or prepare your child for their upcoming grade level next school year.
4. BOOK FAIR INFORMATION Our next Book Fair will be March 3-6. Book Fair Hours & Special Events:
   • Monday, March 3: 8:15am – 4:00pm
   • Tuesday, March 4: 7:45am – 4:00 pm.
   • Donuts & Grown-Ups Event from 7:45am – 8:30am
     • Wednesday, March 5: 8:15am – 4:00pm
     • Thursday, March 6: 8:15am – 5:00 pm.
   • Dr. Seuss Event from 3:30pm – 5:00pm More detailed information to come.
