1. WHITE RIBBON WEEK ACTIVITIES White Ribbon Week is next week, September 23-27! White Ribbon Week supports students in learning about internet safety and how to be responsible stewards of the technology they have access to. Thank you to our PTA for sponsoring White Ribbon Week activities!

White Ribbon Week Chart Activities: Our PTA is encouraging families to do White Ribbon Week activities at home. Conversations about internet safety and how to engage with technology are important to have at school and in the home. You can find the grade level activity charts below. If students participate, they can earn rewards! Students will also come home with a printed copy of the activity charts later this week. 3. CLASS DIRECTORY Parents often contact teachers to request class directory information such as students’ names and parent phone numbers/emails for the purpose of inviting students to birthday parties, etc. If you would prefer that this information is not shared with others, please submit the following opt-out Google Form by this Friday, September 20 at 4:00pm. 6. SAFETY DRILL This Friday we will be having a safety drill starting at 9:30am. Students and faculty/staff will be practicing the lockdown protocol.

7. PICK-UP SAFETY Please note the following requests about pick-up safety: -Please do not park along Canyon Road. It is difficult for vehicles exiting the parking lot to see oncoming traffic. Additionally, it is difficult for our crossing guard along Canyon Road to see oncoming traffic as she helps to get students across the road safely. It is also difficult for vehicles to see the crossing guard and students when cars parked on Canyon Road are blocking visibility. -There are a few parking spots on the north end of the main parking lot. There is a section that does not have any parking spots to allow buses to have the turn radius they need to get to the bus pick-up section. Please do not park in this section that is designed for the bus turn radius.

8. ZUPAS FUNDRAISER We will be having a school fundraiser with Café Zupas on Tuesday, October 8 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm.
