There are a lot of wonderful things happening this month at Canyon Crest and we invite you to take part with us.

On February 1-3, we will be having SEP Conferences. This is such an important opportunity for parents and teachers to connect to individualize your child’s educational experience here and to create the communication connections that lead to success. We are looking forward to meeting with you this week. Be sure and drop by the Community Reads table for your next free book.

We are excited to announce that Canyon Crest is having a Culture day on the 10th of February. Students will have the opportunity to learn about Spanish culture in countries all over the world. Parents, Teachers and students are all working hard to make this an event to remember. Our school Spelling Bee is coming up on the 24th. We will have an English Spelling Bee this month and a Spanish Spelling Bee at a later date. More information on both bees will be coming soon.

We have a delightful librarian at Canyon Crest—Mrs. Naylor. Her library is nearly a magical place—and the book selection is amazing! This month we will be having another Book Fair. It is a joy to see students and books connect. We appreciate all that Mrs. Naylor does every day to make those connections for kids.

As you can see, there is a lot happening at the school and many opportunities for our school community to be involved. Canyon Crest is a fantastic school with great student, teacher, and family support. Come be part of all the good that is going on. We just want you to know, we love our Canyon Crest Community.
