Sean Edwards has been announced as the new principal at Canyon Crest Elementary School. He will be replacing current principal Rene Cunningham, who is retiring. He will begin his new position on July 1.

Sean began his career in education by completing his student teaching at Canyon Crest. Beginning in 2010, he was a special education teacher at Timpview High School. During his time teaching at Timpview, he was also an instructional coach. In 2017, Sean became an assistant principal at Timpview and has remained in that position for the past 5 years.

Sean received a Bachelors and Masters degree in special education from BYU. This May, he will complete his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Utah.

Sean is grateful for the opportunity to work with the best community, educators, and students at Canyon Crest and excited to return to the school where he completed his student teaching.

Sean Edwards ha sido anunciado como el nuevo director de la Escuela Primaria Canyon Crest. Sustituirá al actual director Rene Cunningham, que se jubila. Comenzará su nueva posición el 1 de julio.

Sean comenzó su carrera en la educación completando su enseñanza de estudiante en Canyon Crest. A partir de 2010, fue un maestro de educación especial en Timpview High School. Durante su tiempo de enseñanza en Timpview, también fue un entrenador de instrucción. En 2017, Sean se convirtió en subdirector en Timpview y ha permanecido en esa posición durante los últimos 5 años.

Sean recibió una licenciatura y una maestría en educación especial de BYU. Este mayo, completará su doctorado en Liderazgo y Política Educativa en la Universidad de Utah.
