THE SCHOOL SPELLING BEE WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 23RD, 2022 AT 9:30 A.M.

The Classroom and School Spelling Bees will include second through sixth grade students.

Dear Parents of students in grades 2-6,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming School Spelling Bee at Canyon Crest Elementary.  Attached you will find study materials for your students, however, grade level study lists will be sent home.  Classroom Spelling Bees will be held at the discretion of the teacher between January 21-28, but will be completed at least by January 28th, so that the class winners have sufficient time to study for the School Spelling Bee that will be held February 11th, 2022.  Only one class winner will be chosen from each class to participate in the School Spelling Bee unless there are circumstances that require consideration of a 2nd participant from a class. Students who advance to the School Spelling Bee will be given the word lists by January 28th. If students want to study from additional lists, you can find those below.

Students in grades 2-6 are allowed to participate according to the Scripps National Spelling Bee rules.
