Dear Parents of students in grades 2-6,
We are pleased to announce the upcoming School Spelling Bee at Canyon Crest Elementary. Attached you will find study materials for your son or daughter. Classroom spelling bees will be held at the discretion of the teacher, but will be completed at least by February 12, so that the class winners have sufficient time to study for the school spelling bee that will be held February 25th – Live streamed to the parents. Only one class winner will be chosen to participate in the school spelling bee unless there are circumstances that require consideration of a 2nd participant from a class.
Students in grades 2-6 are allowed to participate according to the Scripps National Spelling Bee rules. Please find the attached list of words for students to study for the classroom spelling bees.
