1. SAFETY DRILL Canyon Crest will be participating in a safety drill this Friday, December 6. Students and faculty/staff will be practicing the lockdown protocol.

2. SUB FOR SANTA Sub For Santa is this week, December 2 – 6. Grade levels are in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most money to support those in need within our community this holiday season. The grade level that raises the most money by the end of the week will receive a classroom celebration! Students can bring cash and coin donations to their classrooms. If parents are interested in donating, they can bring donations in person to the main office (and assign the donation to a specific grade level).

3. UPCOMING DATES AND EVENTS

• Holiday Parent Performance: Tuesday, December 17 starting at 9:30am
• Classroom Holiday Celebrations: Friday, December 20 from 12:30pm – 1:30pm
• Winter Break: December 23 – January 6.
• Students return to school Tuesday, January 7.

We are asking all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students to participate in the STEM Fair. Please note: The next STEM FAIR Sign-Off activity is due December 6th. See sign-off activity sheet at the link below.

5. STEM FAIR JUDGE SIGN-UP The judging portion of our school STEM Fair will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm and we are looking for people to volunteer to help us judge the students’ projects.
