Every week or so, we will be posting a story about one of our wonderful support staff members here at Canyon Crest. We want everyone to know just how lucky we all are to have such great people working here at our school.

Name: Ms. Heaton

Title: Music Teacher

I teach music classes to K-6th grades. I also really enjoy working with the Morning Choir before school and the 6th Grade Choir. Every year I also enjoy helping with the school Christmas Program and other assemblies.

I like being able to teach almost all of the children in the school. I like walking in the hallways and saying ‘Hi’ to anyone. I love smiles and hugs from Canyon Crest students. I like making great music with Canyon Crest students and playing games with them.

An interesting thing about me is that I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces and I’m a proud Aunt!
