 Please note the following weekly announcements.

1. Bike to School Week

This week, September 11-15 is Bike to School Week! We’ll be passing out tickets each morning from 8:30-8:50 at the bike racks on the south side of Canyon Crest to be entered to win prizes in a drawing at the end of the week. Students can earn one ticket each day they bike, scooter or walk to school, and a bonus ticket each day for wearing a helmet.   Anyone interested is welcome to meet in the parking lot of the white church at 4300 N Canyon Rd. at 8:25 Tuesday through Friday to head over to school as a group. This is a great option for anyone who lives too far away to bike or walk from their house!    We still need a few volunteers to make this week a success, especially for some recess activities on Wednesday. If you can help with Bike Week please sign up. Any questions can be directed to Ruth Burt 801.836.0637 (text is best).

2. Cafe Zupas School Fundraiser

We are so excited for our Cafe Zupas Fundraiser. A part of your purchase comes right back to Canyon Crest.  You can order online or in-person, third party apps are not accepted. Our Cafe Zupas School fundraiser will be:

3. PTA Meeting Tuesday, September 12 at 11:00 am    PTA is meeting Tuesday, September 12 at 11:00 am in Rm 19. Look for the agenda later this week. Please remember to scan your IDs at the kiosk, then come to the office to get your visitor badge.    4. School Community Council Voting

Voting is now open for the School Community Council. Voting will close this Wednesday, September 13 at 9:00 am. To vote, please choose one (1) of the following options:

    1. Vote online via Google Form

    2. Vote in-person at the Canyon Crest Main Office

5. Vision Screening this Thursday, September 14. 

Thursday September 14th is our Annual Vision Screening. If you are able to volunteer that morning it goes from 9 – 11am. It’s very easy, you can be seated the whole time and when you show up your responsibilities will be explained to you. Please consider helping if you can, and sign up using the link below! Thank you!

7.  School Picture Day 

School picture day is Thursday, September 21. Please see the attached flyer to purchase your package online. 

8. Stronger Families Project – Utah Valley University

Stronger Families Project is a non-profit organization through Utah Valley University. They are offering free 8-week courses on communication, problem solving, and other areas. If you are interested please refer to the attached flyer.
