Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,
We feel it is important to receive feedback and input from our students. Their insights are helpful as we continually strive to improve our school system. To this end, Provo City School District has asked all 5th and 6th grade students to complete the Panorama Social Emotional Learning Survey. The survey will be administered to all 5th and 6th grade students on Thursday, September 28. The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete.
The survey will ask students to answer questions regarding their perception of grit, growth mindset, self-efficacy, self-awareness, self-management, school safety, teacher-student relationships, and sense of belonging. You can review the survey questions at the links below.
Please note the following:
Survey responses are not attached to a student’s permanent record. If you would like to opt your child out from participating in the Panorama Social Emotional Learning Survey, please fill out the Google Form at the following link or complete the attached opt-out form and bring it to our testing coordinator, Deanna Lee. All opt-out forms must be submitted/turned-in by Tuesday, September 26. If you have any questions, please contact our testing coordinator, Deanna Lee (Deanna Lee).
The results from the survey will allow us to have meaningful dialogue with our school leadership team about areas of improvement, so all students can have a supportive learning environment and a fantastic education experience at Canyon Crest.
Best,
Canyon Crest
