Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians, Please note the following weekly announcements. 

1. BOOK FAIR

This week, February 26 – 29 is our school book fair in the library!

Book Fair Hours: 

• Monday
  • 8:15am – 4:00pm
• Tuesday
  • 7:45 am – 4:00pm 
  • 7:45am – 8:30 Donuts & Grownups Event in the Gym
• Wednesday
  • 8:15am – 4:00pm
• Thursday
  • 8:15am – 5:00pm
  • 3:30pm – 5:00pm Story Book Event

The book fair is open before school, after school, and during the special events. Students will be able to shop the book fair during their library class time. 

2. SKI SCHOOL

This Friday, March 2nd is the first day of Ski School. Any equipment must be brought in through the main doors of the school and put on the school stage in the gym. 

3. EASTER BASKET AUCTION

4. SICK POLICY

5. DONATIONS FOR CANYON CREST SCHOLARSHIP

Exciting news – We have set up a Canyon Crest Scholarship with Timpview High School!  Current upcoming graduates of Timpview who attended Canyon Crest Elementary School can apply for the Canyon Crest Scholarship.  The applications will be reviewed by a committee at Canyon Crest.  The selected recipient of the Canyon Crest scholarship will be able to use the funds for college tuition, books, etc.

We are currently looking for any monetary donations to support this scholarship.  If you are interested in donating any amount, please reach out to Sheliah Saluone (sheliahs@provo.edu).  We would like to have all donations collected by Thursday, March 21.

6. SCHOOL YEARBOOKS

Canyon Crest Yearbooks are now available to purchase. Yearbooks are $25 for preorders, and will be available to order through March 15th. Go to the Yearbook Purchase Link and use the code: CanyonCrestYB24.

7. INTERNET SAFETY

This week, students in grades 2 – 6 will be getting an Internet Safety Lesson.

8. STEM NIGHT VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in being a presenter for our upcoming STEM NIGHT on Tuesday, March 26th please reach out to Mrs. Lee at deannal@provo.edu.
