Here are some pics from our AVID EGG DROP STEM CHALLENGE LESSON! Students in 4th grade learned about force and speed and impact. They then worked in groups to come up with a plan, create a prototype, and then test their creation to see if it would protect an egg dropped from 3 meters! We tested it first on the grass and then students got to return and make any improvements before our final drop on the asphalt. Dr. Edwards helped my being our official Egg Dropper! So much learning and so much fun!
