From our PTA: We’ve started taking pre-orders for our newly designed Canyon Crest T-shirts. This year we are offering them with an all white print AND a full color print on a green shirt.

We’re also offering a BONUS white print t-shirt to anyone who signs up for a PTA Membership by August 13, 2024.

5. SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER

From our school social worker, Michael Blakey: I am excited for this new school year and look forward to seeing everyone come back. I am the school social worker and my role is to provide social and emotional support to all the students here at Canyon Crest. I do this in a variety of ways including classroom presentations, having grade level groups, and meeting with students individually. Before I meet with a student individually or in a group, I need permission and like to talk to parents or guardians to better understand how I can help. If you are interested in having your child meet with me during this school year, feel free to reach out to schedule a time to meet. I am available to meet before school starts or at the Back to School event. If you would like to schedule a time to meet you can email me at michaelbl@provo.edu or text at 385-539-9239. You can also just come by my office at the Back to School event or throughout the school year if needs arise. Thanks!

7. KINDERGARTEN PLACEMENT TESTING

8. SAFETY COMMITTEE

If you are interested in participating on our school’s Safety Committee please let Sheliah know at sheliahs@provo.edu by Friday, August 16 at 3:00pm. The Safety Committee typically meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 3:40pm.
