Please note the following weekly announcements:

1. Presidents’ Day – No School Next Monday, February 17 there is no school due to Presidents’ Day.
2. Hope Week: This week is Hope Week. Students will be participating in various activities to spread kindness across the school. A big thank you to our school’s social worker, Mr. Blakey, and our Hope Squad for organizing all the activities this week.

5. Valentine’s Day Classroom Celebration: Room parents, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher if you have not coordinated already. Valentine’s Day Classroom Celebrations will be this Friday afternoon. If you are volunteering in your child’s classroom, please make sure all visitors over 18 have a valid photo ID to be scanned upon entering the school.
6. Student Educator Parent (SEP) Conference: SEP Conferences are February 26, 27, and 28. Parents/Guardians will be able to sign up for conferences starting Tuesday, February 18. An email with details on how to sign up will be sent next week. -Wednesday, February 26: 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Students released at 1:30pm) -Thursday, February 27: 2:00pm – 7:00pm (Students released at 1:30pm) -Friday, February 28: 2:10pm – 3:30pm (Students released at 1:50pm)
7. 1st Grade Dual Language Immersion (DLI) for the 2025 – 2026 School Year: For more information on the DLI Application please view the link here: DLI Application Information Please note the deadline to sign up is Friday, February, 21. Applications submitted after February 21 will be considered as space becomes available.
8. End of School Year Dates: -Dia de los Niños: Friday, May 9 -Field Day for Grades K-2: Thursday, May 15 from 9:15am – 11:15am -Field Day for Grades 3-5: Friday, May 16 from 9:15am – 11:15am -6th Grade Celebration: Friday, May 16 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm -Kindergarten Graduation: Monday, May 19 from 10:00am – 11:00am -6th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 20 form 9:30am – 10:30am -Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 21
