1. Parent Feedback – Planning For 25-26 School Year: Input from parents is important as we consider class placements for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in sharing input and feedback, please complete the Google Form at the following link by Friday, May 2. Google Form Link: Parent Input Google Form
2. PTA Meeting: Our PTA will be meeting this Wednesday, April 16 at 10:00am. If you are unable to join in person and would like to join via Zoom please see the link. Join Zoom Meeting: PTA Meeting Zoom Link Meeting ID: 817 1474 9021 Passcode: 228655
3. RISE Testing: State RISE Testing starts this week. Generally, students do about one hour of RISE testing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays and Fridays are for students who need more time or were absent earlier in the week. Please help us by encouraging your children to do their best and remind them that end-of-year testing is nothing to stress or worry about. Our goal is to treat end-of-year testing as a celebratory experience because it allows students to show what they have learned this school year.
4. PTA Color Run: From our PTA: Our annual PTA Color Run is on Friday, April 25 starting at 5:00pm. For those of you who have yet to make it to the Color Run, it’s a wonderful family event with a 1k fun run and lots of corn starch-based color being tossed around. There will be food, free t-shirts, dancing, SWAG bags, activities, and raffles as well! This is a PTA sponsored event and 100% of the profits go straight back to Canyon Crest. We will have a station set up where you can come to get any loose color blown off of you before you head home! 5. End of Year Dates: Dia de los Niños: Friday, May 9; Field Day for Grades K-2: Thursday, May 15 from 9:15am – 11:15am; Field Day for Grades 3-5: Friday, May 16 from 9:15am – 11:15am; 6th Grade Celebration/Gala: Friday, May 16 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm; Kindergarten Graduation: Monday, May 19 from 10:00am – 11:00am; 6th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 20 form 9:30am – 10:30am ; Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 21 (Early Release)
6. Kindergarten Registration: Kindergarten Registration for the 2025 -2026 school year has started. To get started, please use the following link: Registration Link. Additionally, if you know of anyone in our community who has Kindergarten age children, please share this information with them.
7. CMS Presenting to 6th Grade: Centennial Middle School will be coming to Canyon Crest this Wednesday, April 16 to meet with 6th grade students. The students will be learning about how to register for their 7th grade classes.
8. Cafe Zupas School Fundraiser: Join us on Thursday, May 1 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Cafe Zupas in Provo (408 W 2230 N. Provo, UT) for our last school Fundraiser Night of the 2024-2025 school year! 25% of your purchase comes straight back to Canyon Crest. You can order in the restaurant, online or in-app.
