Please note the following weekly announcements.

1. Parent Feedback – Planning For 25-26 School Year: Input from parents is important as we consider class placements for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in sharing input and feedback, please complete the Google Form at the following link by Friday, May 2. Google Form Link:

2. Color Run This Friday, April 25: Please see the following message from our PTA: This Friday is our annual color run! It’ll be 5:00-7:00 pm behind the school. You are welcome to register beforehand at the link below or buy a spot when you get there! Our kiddy run will start at 6 and the full 1K run at 6:15. Come enjoy food, fun, music, color, games, raffles, swag, and a casual fun run!

   2. We are also looking for people to help with different things the day of the event. Please take a moment and check out our Sign Up Genius below. We tried to make the shifts small so you don’t spend the entire time volunteering, but it does mean we need more people. We appreciate any help that you can provide!

3. RISE Testing: Students in grades 3 through 6 will be participating in RISE Reading testing this week. Generally, students do about one hour of RISE testing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays and Fridays are for students who need more time or were absent earlier in the week. Please help us by encouraging your children to do their best and remind them that end-of-year testing is nothing to stress or worry about. Our goal is to treat end-of-year testing as a celebratory experience because it allows students to show what they have learned this school year.
4. End of Year Dates: -Dia de los Niños: Friday, May 9; -Field Day for Grades K-2: Thursday, May 15 from 9:15am – 11:15am; -Field Day for Grades 3-5: Friday, May 16 from 9:15am – 11:15am; -6th Grade Celebration/Gala: Friday, May 16 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm; -Kindergarten Graduation: Monday, May 19 from 10:00am – 11:00am; -6th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 20 form 9:30am – 10:30am ; -Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 21 (Early Release)
5. Cafe Zupas School Fundraiser: Join us on Thursday, May 1 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Cafe Zupas in Provo (408 W 2230 N. Provo, UT) for our last school Fundraiser Night of the 2024-2025 school year! 25% of your purchase comes straight back to Canyon Crest. You can order in the restaurant, online or in-app.
6. Kindergarten Registration: Kindergarten Registration for the 2025 -2026 school year has started. To get started, please use the following link:

7. This Is Us Art Gala: Provo City School District’s Art Gala is on Monday, April 28 at 5:00pm at Shoreline Middle School. There are students from each grade here at Canyon Crest whose work will be on display.
8. Timpview Youth Football: Registration is now open for Timpview Youth Football Fall 2025 Season. Go to the following website for information:
