Canyon Crest Elementary School

Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,

The State of Utah requires schools to hold an annual internet safety training for students.  Our School Community Council has selected to use the Net Positive organization (formerly NetSmartz) for this school year.  The training will occur in an assembly format, Grades K-2 and Grades 3-6.  The assembly will be on Friday, March 31.  After the assembly, teachers will lead students in a class discussion about what they learned.

If you would like to see the internet safety assembly that will be shared with students, you may do so on the Net Positive Website. Use the password: NPtraining1.

Here are the follow-up lessons teachers will be sharing with students after the assembly:

Please reach out to Tiffany McCloud with any questions ( tiffanymc@provo.edu).

Best,

Canyon Crest
