At Canyon Crest, we have a wonderful art teacher in Mrs. DeHart.  She teaches about all the principles of art while engaging our students in hands on activities.  Our students have art class once each week and look forward to their time in Mrs. DeHart’s class.  She is always well-prepared and shares her passion for art with each child.  

Mrs. DeHart also has made a tremendous difference for the faculty at the school.  She took some outdated and neglected bulletin boards in the faculty room and updated and brightened that space for her colleagues.  We cannot express enough our appreciation in having Mrs. DeHart at our school.  She truly has made art come alive for our community.
