Welcome to March! At this point in the school year, we have so much to look forward to (especially the days getting longer and the weather getting warmer!). At Canyon Crest, we have many exciting opportunities to anticipate every month. This month, we have our annual STEM Night on Tuesday, March 21 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) is important to a well-rounded education. When students have exposure to STEM education opportunities, they receive hands-on learning with real-world application, which helps them prepare for college, career, and life success by developing 21st-century problem-solving and creative skills.
All students can and should access STEM because it opens doors, reveals possibilities, and leads to college and career pathways. At Canyon Crest, our kindergarten through 6th-grade students embrace STEM learning across the curriculum because we know STEM is multidisciplinary. Our wonderful teachers are STEM-focused, and we look forward to the many STEM possibilities in the future. We are proud of our school’s Platinum STEM Designation!
Please consider bringing your child(ren) to our school’s STEM Night this month. It will be a memorable, enjoyable, and educational event.

Thank you for allowing us to teach, support, and care for your child(ren). We love our Canyon Crest Cubs!
All the best,
Dr. Sean Edwards
