Dear Canyon Crest Families,
As we wrap up this 2024-25 school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for a truly fantastic school year. Your continued support, involvement, and care have helped make Canyon Crest a place where students thrive and feel valued every day.We are incredibly proud of our Canyon Crest cubs—their hard work, kindness, and curiosity have made this year so special. I’m equally grateful for our dedicated faculty and staff, whose commitment to excellence and love for teaching have shaped a positive and inspiring learning environment for all.I’m excited to return next year with our new principal, Mark Burge, to continue building on the great work we’ve done together. However, this moment is also bittersweet, as we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved principal, Dr. Edwards. His leadership, compassion, and vision have had a lasting impact on our school community, and he will be deeply missed. We wish him all the best, and are excited for our 6th graders who get to transition to Centennial with him. Thank you once again for a wonderful year. I hope your family enjoys a restful, joyful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the fall.
All the best,
Mrs. Whatcott Assistant Principal
