  • Reviewed mission and vision
  • Reviewed SIP goals
  • Reviewed meeting norms
  • Talked about where our school improvement plan numbers came from
  • Note for next time to review school report card information Questions about NWEA assessment and RISE
  • NWEA follow students through 12th grade Discussed testing at the elementary level versus secondary
  • Discussed testing burnout and how RISE benchmarks should help students be familiar with those. 
  • Discussed RISE testing schedule and math being first versus last. 
  • Internet Safety Update
  • Continue with internet safety lessons next year In person assembly as a wrap up to the lessons  Lessons will be taught consecutively for 6 weeks with flexibility worked in Voted yes on this plan. Voted to move forward with Net Positive Safe Routes
  • Reviewed requests from this year and last year Recommendations for possibly moving crosswalks or signage in front of the school.  Possibly a better access with the fence to the school by the church Moving the blinking light that is in the front of the school down to the fence between the church and the school.  Final recommendation: continue with requests from last year, signage to expand the school zone to slow down and cover the entirety of the school property and include the corner of the church. (Accident on Canyon Road near church pickup area) vote approved.
