It seems unbelievable that November is already upon us.  The year is just flying by!  Last year, I had the opportunity to reflect in my November message about the things that I was grateful for.  This year, there is so much more to reflect on and to express gratitude for.

As a school, we were able to meet and even exceed our goals last year in Reading and Math.  Our students worked so hard and we were incredibly proud of their efforts.  They were guided by caring, committed teachers who helped them realize their potential.

We have some wonderful new teachers and aides who have joined our Canyon Crest Community.  They have brought new energy and enthusiasm.  Already we see the impact of these great hires.

Our new Master Schedule is protecting teacher core instruction time and yet we have found creative ways to help our students still get meaningful instruction in STEM, the arts, library and PE.

Yes, there is a lot to be grateful for at this time of year, but we are most grateful for our supportive and generous Canyon Crest Family.  With our combined efforts, Canyon Crest continues to be a great place to learn and grow.  Thank you for all you do—we love Canyon Crest!

Parece increíble que noviembre ya esté entre nosotros. ¡El año pasa volando! El año pasado tuve la oportunidad de reflexionar en mi mensaje de noviembre sobre las cosas por las que estaba agradecido. Este año, hay mucho más sobre qué reflexionar y por qué expresar gratitud.

Como escuela, pudimos alcanzar e incluso superar nuestras metas el año pasado en lectura y matemáticas. Nuestros estudiantes trabajaron muy duro y estábamos increíblemente orgullosos de sus esfuerzos. Fueron guiados por maestros atentos y comprometidos que los ayudaron a desarrollar su potencial.

Tenemos algunos nuevos maestros y asistentes maravillosos que se han unido a nuestra comunidad de Canyon Crest. Han aportado nueva energía y entusiasmo. Ya vemos el impacto de estas grandes contrataciones.

Nuestro nuevo Horario Maestro protege el tiempo de instrucción básica de los maestros y, sin embargo, hemos encontrado formas creativas de ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a seguir recibiendo instrucción significativa en STEM, artes, biblioteca y educación física.

Sí, hay mucho que agradecer en esta época del año, pero estamos muy agradecidos por nuestra generosa y solidaria familia Canyon Crest. Con nuestros esfuerzos combinados, Canyon Crest sigue siendo un gran lugar para aprender y crecer. Gracias por todo lo que haces. ¡Nos encanta Canyon Crest!
