Please note the following about our upcoming Red Ribbon Week. First, a huge thank you to our PTA who is sponsoring our Red Ribbon Week activities.

1. Red Ribbon Week Dates and Theme Red Ribbon Week will be Wednesday, October 23 through Friday, October 25. The them this year is Life is a Movie: Film Drug Free.

2. Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days Wednesday, October 23: Jersey Day – Sports Stars Stay Drug Free Thursday, October 24: Hat Day – Drug Free from Head to Toe Friday, October 25: Crazy Sock Day – Socks to Kick Drugs to the Curb

3. Additional Activities Red Ribbon Week will also include a classroom door decorating context, signing a pledge to stay drug free, lunch recess activities, and more!

5. Photo Contest You can decorate your home (entryway, porch, etc.) with the Red Ribbon Week theme and submit photos by October 25 at 5:00pm to Kami Su Bird at kamisubird@gmail.com. The winner will receive a prize from the Canyon Crest Red Ribbon Week Committee and be entered into the National Red Ribbon Week Contest. Contest guidelines: Get creative and decorate your front door, mailbox, or fence with a double-looped red ribbon and include the theme of Life is Movie: Film Drug Free. Do not use a single-looped or flat ribbon.
