Parents/Guardians of Canyon Crest Students,
The School Community Council (SCC) is a group of highly-invested stakeholders who work collaboratively with the school principal to determine the school’s greatest needs and prepare a plan to address those needs using funds distributed from the School LAND Trust program. Parent participation on our SCC is critical to the overall success of our school.
Parents who are interested in being a SCC member must be elected by our Canyon Crest community to the position. We have a few open parent spots for the 2023-2024 school year. Generally, the SCC meets for one hour one time per month.
If you are interested in participating in our SCC this school year and would like to move forward in the election process, please reach out to Yazmin Jones no later than Thursday, August 24 to self-nominate (yazminj@provo.edu). Upon receiving your email, she will reach out for additional information. Please note that we will not take nominations of others. This is a self-nomination process only.
Please watch for further communication regarding when election voting will be held. Election voting will take place electronically via Google Form.
If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Yazmin Jones (yazminj@provov.edu).
Best,
Canyon Crest
