Please note the following weekly announcements. 

  1. STEM FAIR: Reminder to all 4, 5, 6 grade parents that the STEM FAIR is Friday, January 26th. We are so excited to see what students have come up with! Reach out to Heather Blinzinger at heatherb@provo.edu if you have any questions. 

  All STEM PAPERWORK is due today! THE VERY LATEST THAT PAPERWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED is TOMORROW! 

  Schedule for the STEM FAIR 8:30-8:55 Students Check-in at the STEM Fair w/ projects 9:00-10:15 Judging (Gym closed to visitors–only judges) 10:15-11:15 Gym is open to classes, visitors etc. 10:15 Kindergarten 10:30 First 10:45 Second 11:00 Third 11:15 Clean-up 11:25 Lunch Begins

    2. STEM FAIR JUDGES NEEDED:  If you are interested in being a judge for our STEM FAIR, no previous experience is necessary. Please reach out to Heather Blinzinger at heatherb@provo.edu.

  3. QUARTER 2 GRADES:  Teachers are finishing up quarter 2 standard reports. Many teachers will be reviewing these with you at SEP’s in February (more information about conferences to come). 

  4. ROAR SHIRTS Every Friday we encourage students to wear their Canyon Crest Roar shirt or blue or green! 

  5. TIMPVIEW CHEER CLINIC Calling all future Timpview Tiny T-birds! Get ready to shake your pom poms and show your school spirit at the 2024 Timpview Mini Cheer Clinic. Hosted by Timpview High School, this 3-day clinic (January 17-18 4:00-5:30, January 19 6:00-7:30ish) is open to kids ages 3-14 (or 8th grade). Learn cheers, jumps, and dances from the Timpview Cheer team, then show off your new moves during a special performance at the boys basketball game on January 19. Plus, you’ll get a t-shirt, a snack, and 2 tickets to the game to cheer on the T-birds!   6. UVU EARLY LITERACY  UVU is offering early literacy after school tutoring for grades 1 – 3. Please see the attached flyer at the very bottom of this email.
