Please note the following weekly announcements.

1. Visitor Management System

We are grateful for our visitor management system, which helps to keep our students safe.  Per district policy (see attached), we kindly request all visitors to present a valid government issued form of photo identification, including visitors who are checking their child out early or dropping something off. This will go into full effect starting November 1, 2023. We appreciate your support in ensuring the safety of our students.

2. Student Educator Parent (SEP) Conferences

Student Educator Parent (SEP) Conferences are coming up! They will start the day students return from Fall Break. Conferences will be October 25, 26, and 27.  Students will be released early on these dates:

October 25 – Release at 1:30pm

October 26 – Release at 1:30pm

October 27 – Release at 1:50pm

SEP Conferences are scheduled for the following:

October 25 – 2:00pm – 6:00pm

October 26 – 2:00pm – 7:00pm

October 27 – 2:10pm – 3:30pm

Additional information about how to sign-up for SEP Conferences will be sent later this week.

3. Kindness Week

This week is Kindness Week! Our Kindness Club will be doing lunch time activities during the week. Each day had a dress up theme that all students are welcome to do:

-Monday October 9: Wear Purple

-Tuesday October 10: Blue and Red Day

-Wednesday October 11: Jersey Day

-Thursday October 12: Super Mario Day (dress up like a Super Mario character)

-Friday October 13: Crazy Hair Day

4. PTA Meeting

Our PTA will be meeting tomorrow, October 10 at 11:00am in Room 19.

5. Fall Break

Fall Break will be October 19 – 24.  School will resume for students on Wednesday, October 25.

6. Culture Day Showcase

Don’t miss our Culture Day Showcase on October 13 in the gym. Students will be displaying what they have learned throughout Hispanic Heritage Month. This is open house style and parents/guardians are invited to attend anytime between 12:45pm – 1:50pm. If you plan to attend, please make sure you bring a valid government issued form of photo identification, scan it at the kiosk, and check in at the front office.

7. Hearing Screenings on Thursday

Students will participate in Hearing Screenings on Thursday, October 12.

Octubre 27 – Salida a la 1:50pm

Conferencias SEP están programadas para lo siguiente:

3. Semana de la Bondad

Esta semana es la Semana de la Bondad. Nuestro Club de la Amabilidad estará haciendo actividades durante la semana. Cada día tiene un tema de disfraces que todos los estudiantes pueden hacer:

-Lunes 9 de octubre: Vístete de morado

-Martes 10 de octubre: Día Azul y Rojo

-Miércoles 11 de octubre: Jersey Day

-Jueves 12 de octubre: Día de Super Mario (disfrazarse de un personaje de Super Mario)

-Viernes 13 de octubre: Día del Pelo Loco

4. Reunión de la PTA

Nuestra PTA se reunirá mañana 10 de octubre a las 11:00am en el salón 19.

5. Vacaciones de Otoño

Las vacaciones de otoño serán del 19 al 24 de octubre.  La escuela se reanudará para los estudiantes el miércoles, 25 de octubre.

6. Día de la Cultura

No se pierda nuestro Showcase Día de la Cultura el 13 de octubre en el gimnasio. Los estudiantes mostrarán lo que han aprendido durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Esto es estilo de casa abierta y los padres/guardianes están invitados a asistir en cualquier momento entre 12:45pm – 1:50pm. Si planea asistir, por favor asegúrese de traer una forma válida de identificación con foto emitida por el gobierno, escanearla en el quiosco y registrarse en la oficina principal.

7. Pruebas de audición el jueves

Los estudiantes participarán en pruebas de audición el jueves, 12 de octubre.
