Please see the following announcements.

1. Veterans Day Program Assembly

This Friday, November 10, will be our annual Veterans Day Program Assembly.  We kindly ask you to invite veterans from our area to attend and enjoy the program our students have put together for them.  The assembly starts at 9:30am.

If you and/or a veteran plan to attend this program, please RSVP by Wednesday, November 8 by emailing Sheliah Saluone at sheliahs@provo.edu.

Additionally, whether or not you or a veteran can attend our program, please send photos of veterans that have a familial relation to your child to Sheliah Saluone at  sheliahs@provo.edu by Wednesday, November 8.  We would like to show pictures of veterans during the program.

2. Holiday Season Support

Canyon Crest Elementary wants to make sure our families have what they need this Holiday Season. With help from United Way we would like to assist where needed. If you would like some support please contact our school social worker, Michael Blakey at michaelbl@provo.edu.  We can help out with Sub for Santa, winter clothes, and or other needs. If you would like to help, you can purchase gift cards and drop them off at the front office. If you have any other questions please reach out to Michael Blakey.

3. Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break will be November 22 – 24. School resumes on Monday November 27.

4. Visitor Management System

We appreciate your support in ensuring the safety of our students. Please continue to bring a valid government issued form of photo identification when entering the school. This includes visitors who are checking their child out early and or dropping something off for your child.

5. AAPPL Testing

Spanish Dual Language Immersion students will be participating in AAPPL testing this week.

6. PTA Reflections Assembly

We are excited to recognize students who entered the Reflections Contest this school year at our PTA Reflections Assembly on Friday morning.

7. Safety Drill on Friday, November 17

We will have a safety drill on Friday, November 17.  It will be a secure protocol.

3. Vacaciones de Acción de Gracias

Las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias serán del 22 al 24 de noviembre. La escuela se reanuda el lunes 27 de noviembre.

4. Sistema de Gestión de Visitantes

Agradecemos su apoyo para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes. Por favor, siga trayendo una forma válida de identificación con foto emitida por el gobierno al entrar en la escuela. Esto incluye a los visitantes que van a sacar a sus hijos temprano y o dejar algo para su hijo.

5. Pruebas AAPPL

Los estudiantes de inmersión dual en español estarán participando en las pruebas AAPPL esta semana.

6. Asamblea de Reflexiones del PTA

Estamos emocionados de reconocer a los estudiantes que participaron en el Concurso de Reflexiones de este año escolar en nuestra Asamblea de Reflexiones de la PTA el viernes por la mañana.

7. Simulacro de seguridad el viernes, 17 de noviembre

Tendremos un simulacro de seguridad el viernes 17 de noviembre.  Será un protocolo seguro.
