Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,  

We hope you all had a great Spring Break! 

Please note the following weekly announcements:   

1. STATE TESTING  

This is a very critical time of the school year as we are in the middle of end of year state testing. We thank you in advance for having your children at school to the greatest extent possible.  

2. PTA MEETING  

Our PTA will be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9 at 11:00am in Room 19.   

3. HOPE WEEK  

This week, April 8 – 12 is Hope Week.     Tuesday is blue dress up and face painting at lunch recess   Wednesday is pajama day and goldilocks activity at lunch recess    Thursday is wear pink and egg hunt at lunch recess    Friday is dress up like what you want to be when you grow up and egg bucket compliment activity at lunch recess  

4. COLOR RUN

It’s time for everyone’s favorite event!!  The Color Run is back again this year and coming up on us quickly.  On Friday April 19th from 5-7 pm we will be holding 2 color races behind the school.  The first race is for anyone in Kindergarten and younger and the second race will be for everyone else.  There will be food trucks, raffles, stage games, color tossing, dance parties and so much more!  This is the PTA’s big fundraiser so everything earned will go straight back into the school.  We have some wonderful sponsors this year who are providing shirts and swag bags for the runners so sign up! Early registration ends April 9th.  After that the price will increase and you will still be able to sign up but you will not receive a t-shirt.

5. LUNCH ACCOUNTS
