1. THIS WEEK’S SCHEDULE       

• Monday May 20: Kindergarten Field Day 1:15pm – 3:15pm        
• Tuesday May 21: Kindergarten Graduation 10:00am – 11:00am                                        
  • Field Day for Grades 1 – 6  FIELD DAY IS HAPPENING TOMORROW RAIN OR SHINE. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. There will be water games so a change of clothes and a towel is recommended.         
• Wednesday May 22: 6th Grade Graduation 10:00 – 11:00        
• Wednesday May 22 – Friday May 24: Early Out Release                  
• Wednesday, May 22: OUT AT 1:30PM                 
• Thursday, May 23: OUT AT 1:30PM                 
• Friday, May 24: OUT AT 1:50PM    

2. SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN  

Every year, we establish school improvement plan goals to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students.  Our school improvement plan goals were: English Language Arts: By May 2024, at least 85% of students will score benchmark or above according to the Acadience end-of-year reading assessment. Math: By May 2024, at least 85% of students will score on-level or above according to the Into Math Growth Measure Assessment. PBIS: By May 2024, 90% of students can show understanding of what ROAR stands for and what ROAR behavior looks like at school. We are excited to report to you that we have met/exceeded all our school improvement plan goals!  The following reflect our outcomes: English Language Arts: 87% of students scored benchmark or above according to the Acadeince end-of-year reading assessment. Math: 87% of students scored on-level or above according to the Into Math Growth Measure Assessment. PBIS: 100% of students (who were surveyed) knew what ROAR stands for and what ROAR behavior looks like at the school. It takes all of us, parents included, to reach our school improvement plan goals.  Thank you for being such great partners with us in helping us to meet these goals.    

3. OFFICE SUMMER HOURS  

Here are the dates and times that the office will be open during summer break:     

• May 28, 29, 30: 8:00am – 4:00pm    
• June 3 – 7: 8:00am – 4:00pm    
• June 10 – 13: 8:00am – 4:00pm    
• June 18: 8:00am – 4:00pm    
• June 26: 8:00am – 4:00pm         
• Every Wednesday in July: 8:00am – 4:00pm    
• Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 24th.  

4. STANDARD REPORTS & OTHER PROGRESS REPORTS

All students will have their End of Year Standard reports and Acadience Progress reports by May 24th.   

5. FEEDBACK FOR PROVO CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

6. LUNCHTIME INFORMATION

7. KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION  

Reminder to please register any kindergarten students for the 2024 – 2025 school year sooner than later. Use this link here: https://provo.edu/studen t-services/student-registratio n/ and click on the “Pre Registration Form” link.  

8. LOST & FOUND  

Our school lost and found is getting pretty full. As we are getting closer to the school year please stop by and take a look through the lost & found. We will be donating all items after the last day of school, Friday, May 24th.   

9. HOW TO VIEW TEST SCORES  

Our PTA asked for us to share how you can access your child’s test scores, including RISE, through PowerSchool. Log into your Parent PowerSchool account Click “Test Scores” on the left side of the screen Please note: CRT scores reflects RISE scores Score Chart Information: https://www.utah.gov/pmn/files/732263.pdf  

10. SCHOOL REPORT CARD
