1. Parent Feedback Due Friday – Planning For 25-26 School Year Input from parents is important as we consider class placements for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in sharing input and feedback, please complete the Google Form at the following link by this Friday, May 2 by 1:50pm. Google

2. RISE Testing Students in grades 4 through 6 will be participating in RISE Science testing this week. Generally, students do about one hour of RISE testing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays and Fridays are for students who need more time or were absent earlier in the week. Please help us by encouraging your children to do their best and remind them that end-of-year testing is nothing to stress or worry about. Our goal is to treat end-of-year testing as a celebratory experience because it allows students to show what they have learned this school year.
3. Cafe Zupas School Fundraiser Join us this Thursday, May 1 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Cafe Zupas in Provo (408 W 2230 N. Provo, UT) for our last School Fundraiser Night of the 2024-2025 school year! 25% of your purchase comes straight back to Canyon Crest. You can order in the restaurant, online or in-app.
4. District Art Gala The Provo City School District Art Gala is tonight at 5:00pm at Shoreline Middle School. Some artwork created by Canyon Crest students will be showcased.

6. Book Fair Next week, for two days only, is our Buy-One Get-One Free Book Fair in the library. Tuesday, May 6: 8:15am – 4:00pm Wednesday, May 7: 8:15am – 4:00pm
7. Provo City School District Foundation Donation Initiative This year, the Provo City School District Foundation will not be hosting an Easter Basket Auction. Instead, they will be doing a donation initiative. Please see the following link if you are interested in making a donation.

8. End of Year Dates -Dia de los Niños: Friday, May 9 -Field Day for Grades K-2: Thursday, May 15 (looking to possibly adjust the time) -Field Day for Grades 3-5: Friday, May 16 (looking to possibly adjust the time) -6th Grade Celebration/Gala: Friday, May 16 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm -Kindergarten Graduation: Monday, May 19 from 10:00am – 11:00am -6th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 20 form 9:30am – 10:30am -Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 21 (Early Release)
9. Kindergarten Registration Kindergarten Registration for the 2025 -2026 school year has started. Additionally, if you know of anyone in our community who has Kindergarten age children, please share this information with them.
