2. RISE Testing State RISE Testing will begin Monday April 14 and continue through the rest of April to the beginning of May. Generally, students do about one hour of RISE testing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays and Fridays are for students who need more time or were absent earlier in the week. Please help us by encouraging your children to do their best and remind them that end-of-year testing is nothing to stress or worry about. Our goal is to treat end-of-year testing as a celebratory experience because it allows students to show what they have learned this school year.
3. Safety Drill This Friday, April 11, students and staff will be participating in a safety drill. We will be practicing the Shelter Protocol.
4. Business Sponsorship Program From our PTA: Reminder of a wonderful opportunity to get your business name out into the local community while also supporting the kids at Canyon Crest Elementary. The deadline is Wednesday, April 9. There will be a specific email about this sent out later this afternoon.
5. Cafe Zupas School Fundraiser Join us on Thursday, May 1 from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at Cafe Zupas in Provo (408 W 2230 N. Provo, UT) for our last school Fundraiser Night of the 2024-2025 school year! 25% of your purchase comes straight back to Canyon Crest. You can order in the restaurant, online or in-app.
6. Kindergarten Registration Kindergarten Registration for the 2025 -2026 school year has started. To get started, please use the following link:

8. UVU Math Adventure Camp This program is not sponsored by or facilitated through Provo City School District. From UVU: UVU Math Adventure Camp registration is now open. A week of math adventures awaits current 3rd through 6th grade students! Campers will engage in fascinating games and hands-on activities that will reinforce mathematical concepts, thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities. We will explore game theory, rocket flight, code breaking, and more, with all the explorations designed to uncover the relevance of mathematics in daily life.
