Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians, Please note the following weekly announcements. 

1. STATE TESTING COMING UP  

This is a very critical time of the school year as we are preparing for end of year state testing. We thank you in advance for having your children at school to the greatest extent possible.

2. NO SCHOOL DAYS IN MARCH  

Friday, March 15th: No School  Monday, March 18th: Professional Development Day – No School for Students

3. STEM NIGHT

We are so excited for our annual STEM Night which will be Tuesday, March 26 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. 

4. PTA MEETING

PTA will be meeting Tuesday, March 12 at 11:00am in Room 19. 

5. KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Kindergarten online registration for the 2024 – 2025 school year began on March 1st. If you need assistance registering you can call the school or visit the school in-person on March 22 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Use the link here: Kindergarten Registration Link

6. SPRING PICTURES

Spring Pictures will be on Thursday, March 21st. If you would like to purchase spring pictures please see the attached flyer below for more details. 

7. SEEKING FOR 1ST GRADE SPANISH DLI TEACHER 24 – 25

We currently have a Spanish DLI teacher position open for next school for 1st grade. If you know of anyone who may be a qualified applicant please share the application link with them. We are looking for candidates that have a Utah Teaching License and endorsements in Dual Immersion and Spanish. Link here: First Grade DLI Position Link

8. ZUPAS FUNDRAISER NIGHT

We will be having a Fundraiser Night with Cafè Zupas where part of your purchase will come back to Canyon Crest.

9. DONATIONS FOR CANYON CREST SCHOLARSHIP

Exciting news – We have set up a Canyon Crest Scholarship with Timpview High School!  Current upcoming graduates of Timpview who attended Canyon Crest Elementary School can apply for the Canyon Crest Scholarship.  The applications will be reviewed by a committee at Canyon Crest.  The selected recipient of the Canyon Crest scholarship will be able to use the funds for college tuition, books, etc.

10. SCHOOL YEARBOOKS

Canyon Crest Yearbooks are now available to purchase. Yearbooks are $25 for preorders, and will be available to order through March 15th. Use the Canyon Crest Yearbook Purchase Link. The code is CanyonCrestYB24.
