Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,

Please note the following weekly announcements.

1. Stem Fair Information: The Canyon Crest STEM Fair Open House for parents and visitors is this Friday, January 24 from 9:00am – 10:00am in the gym. If you are planning on attending, please make sure all visitors over 18 have a valid form of identification to scan at the door.
   • Please Note: STEM Fair Judging will take place this Thursday, January 23 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm.
2. 3-D Printed Objects And Toys From Home: If students bring 3-D printed objects and toys from home, they must not be a distraction or disruption to the learning environment. Teachers may ask students to keep these items out of sight in a backpack.
   • Additionally, please remind your children that any object that resembles, looks like, or is a facsimile of a weapon is prohibited and must not be present on school grounds, even if kept in a student backpack.
3. Winter Coats: Just a friendly reminder to please make sure that students come to school with coats for outside recess.
4. Spelling Bee: Please note the following information about our English Spelling Bee this year. -Words Released to Students: Tuesday, January 21 -Classroom Spelling Bees: Before January 31 -School Spelling Bee: February 14
