Please note the following weekly announcements.

1. UPDATED A/B CALENDAR As a reminder, the last day of school has changed to Wednesday, May 21. To view the updated A/B Calendar click on the link here: AB Calendar
2. SPELLING BEE Please note the following information about our English Spelling Bee this year. -Classroom Spelling Bees: Before January 31 -School Spelling Bee: February 14
3. UPCOMING FEBRUARY DATES -February 12: PTA Meeting at 10:00am -February 10 – 14: Hope Week -February 14: School Spelling Bee at 9:30am -February 17: Presidents Day – No School -February 26, 27, 28: Student Educator Parent (SEP) Conferences (more information to come)
4. LOCKDOWN PROTOCOL PRACTICE IN ALTERNATIVE SPACES Students will receive instruction on what to do if a lockdown protocol is initiated in a space that is not their classroom (e.g., cafeteria, playground/recess area, hallway, bathroom). Students will receive this instruction next week, February 3-7.
5. MICROMOBILITY VEHICLES To ensure student safety, students must not use micromobility vehicles or pedestrian conveyances on school grounds, including school sidewalks outside the school building. 6. 6TH GRADE BAND & ORCHESTRA The 6th Grade Band & Orchestra concert is this Wednesday, January 29 at Timpview High School. Please see the following information from the band teacher, Mrs. Werner: Students need to arrive at Timpview at 4:45pm to be ready for the 5:30pm concert. Students and parents will enter on the northeast side of the school, near the football stadium. This will be the only doors unlocked. Parking is also available in that lot. Students all need to wear “Sunday best” clothing for the concert. Details are listed in the attached PDF.
