Weekly Announcements: October 16 – October 20
Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,
Please note the following weekly announcements.
Visitor Management System
We are grateful for our visitor management system, which helps to keep our students safe. Per district policy (see attached), we kindly request all visitors to present a valid government issued form of photo identification, including visitors who are checking their child out early or dropping something off. This will go into full effect starting November 1, 2023. We appreciate your support in ensuring the safety of our students.
If you are planning to help with classroom Halloween parties, we highly suggest that you scan your license and check in before the parade starts. We always have a greater volume of people scanning on that day so please plan out your time accordingly.

Monday, 10/16, Day 1: Wear Red – This day encourages participants to wear red clothing or accessories to symbolize their commitment to a drug-free life. Tuesday, 10/17, Day 2: Use Your Head, Don’t Do Drugs – Wear a hat today. This theme emphasizes the importance of making smart, informed decisions and not getting involved in drug use. Wednesday, 10/18, Day 3: Too Bright for Drugs – Wear Sunglasses today. This theme suggests that individuals should avoid drugs and focus on living vibrant, healthy lives instead.
