Canyon Crest Parents/Guardians,

Please note the following announcements.

1. End of Year Lunch Balances

Last week!! Please take a moment and check your students lunch account and make sure there is enough money to make it to the end of the week. If there is any money owed, please pay immediately as we cannot have negative balances at the end of this week. We will be serving both breakfast and lunch on the last day of school this week. Money that is left on the students lunch account will be there next year. If a student is moving to Jr. High their lunch balance will follow them. All negative balances need to be paid before Friday May 26th.

2. Library Books Need to Be Returned ASAP

The end of the year is here and we need to collect all of the library books that have been checked out. Please check with your students and make sure they have turned in all of their library books. We are finishing inventory and need them all back. Also if you cannot find the books please come in and pay the fine or send money with your students.Thank you!

3. Extra Yearbooks for Sale

We have a limited amount of yearbooks for sale. They are first come first serve. They are $35. You can pay with a check or cash to the office. Please make checks payable to Canyon Crest PTA. If you purchase a yearbook for your student we take it and put it with their teachers pile & we will make sure they get it on the day we hand out yearbooks. Yearbooks will be handed out the last week of school.

We also have 31 of Last Year’s Yearbooks 2021-2022 for $10 each.

4. Field Day

This Thursday May 25th is Field Day. The students will be outside. Please make sure they have the following items that day.

Labeled water bottle

Closed-toe shoes

Sunscreen  

An outfit that can get wet/messy

A good attitude

Recommended: Hat & Towel

K-2 will be outside from 9am until 10am

3-5 will be outside from 10:15am until 11:15am

5. T-Shirt Design Contest Due May 24th

It’s time to design the 2023-2024 Canyon Crest school t-shirt. In keeping with tradition, the students get to design the logo for the shirt. Your student could be the designer of next year’s school shirt! 

A logo for only the front of the shirt is needed; we will not have a logo on the back of the shirt. Attached is a list of details for the design contest. 

Please have the design turned into the office or emailed to brandalee@utahcopa.com by Wednesday, May 24th. Winner will be announced on the last day of school.

6. Izzy Ingle Basketball Camp

May 22-25 at Timpview High School

7. Summer Resource Guide for Kids

8. Lost and Found

Our lost and found is overflowing!! We are hoping to get the items back to their owners by the end of school this week. We will be donating the items the week after school gets out. Please come and check to see if your student has anything in the lost and found.

9. Timpview Youth Football Registration Open

10. Fine Arts Summer Camp/Overnight Adventure Camp
