We are excited to welcome Meghan Shane, our new health clerk, to Canyon Crest! Meghan is thrilled to be joining the Canyon Crest family. She studied Recreation Management and Youth Leadership at BYU. She loves being a swim coach and has been teaching at Riverside Country Club since 2003. She started working in PCSD in 2005 as a 504 aide at Wasatch Elementary. She also worked as a PE instructor at Wasatch Elementary. Meghan says, “Need help learning how to skip? I have a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a long school year of teaching adorable (and less-than-coordinated) children to skip.”

After a break from PCSD, she returned to Wasatch Elementary in 2018 to return as a 504 aide. The following year, she supported implementation of the positive behavior intervention and supports (PBIS) system at Wasatch. That year, Meghan was awarded one of PCSD’s employees of the year! Meghan shares, “I’m excited to be starting a new chapter at Canyon Crest—one that I’m sure will be filled with bandaids, ice packs, and so many high fives!” When you see Meghan, please join us in welcoming her.
