3rd Grade Having Fun with the Distributive Property

Students in small groups relearning the math concepts by creating the distributive property with little blocks . They finally understood why the distributive property is also called the break apart property. They broke apart the big array into two small arrays, described each of the small arrays, and put them back together in an equation with the plus sign in the middle.
