Every week or so, we will be posting a story about one of our wonderful support staff members here at Canyon Crest. We want everyone to know just how lucky we all are to have such great people working here at our school.

Name: Mrs. Gibson

Title: Tech Coordinator

I have been blessed to work at Canyon Crest for 19 years.  I started working in the front office , but have also had many other fun opportunities – from teaching Special Education Art classes, teaching all Art classes for 1st – 6th graders, and now I am the Tech coordinator at the school. I help 3rd – 6th graders learn how to keyboard, I help with Math Reteach classes, I fill most of the content on the school’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), and try to keep the computers in the building up and running.

The things that I love best about working at Canyon Crest are: the wonderful children (my favorite people in the world), the family of employees that I get to work with, learning new things daily, and the joy of work.

An interesting thing about me is that I have 4 (2 boys and 2 girls) wonderful grown children and almost 9 (one due in 3-4 weeks) of the most beautiful and bright grandchildren ever.
