Welcome to another Cubs Teacher Feature Friday.  Today we are introducing Joy Smith who is our Speech-Language Pathologist.

Mrs. Smith feels so lucky to have landed the only position open in 2008 for a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Provo School District.  She was adopted into the Canyon Crest Family at that time.  She feels like Canyon Crest is her second Home.   She has met the most wonderful people ever during her 13 years at the school.   She loves her  job and she absolutely loves the children that she gets to work with.  She feels so lucky to have them and their families in her life. Often, she feels that she learns more from them than they do from her!    When she is not at school, she loves being outdoors.  She loves hiking and spending time with family and friends.   She also loves having summers off so she can spend the whole Summer in Louisiana with her children and grandchildren and extended family!   She always comes back with a much stronger southern accent and she often thinks that she is the one who needs Speech Therapy!

Bienvenidos a otro viernes de presentación de los profesores de Cubs.  Hoy estamos presentando a Joy Smith quien es nuestra Patóloga del Habla-Lenguaje.

La Sra. Smith se siente muy afortunada de haber conseguido el único puesto abierto en 2008 para un patólogo del habla y el lenguaje en el distrito escolar de Provo.  En ese momento fue adoptada por la familia de Canyon Crest.  Siente que Canyon Crest es su segundo hogar.   Ha conocido a las personas más maravillosas durante sus 13 años en la escuela.   Le encanta su trabajo y le encantan los niños con los que trabaja.  Se siente muy afortunada de tenerlos a ellos y a sus familias en su vida.
