Hi Canyon Crest Families,

Students will be bringing home a “Principal’s Holiday Reading Challenge” page today. This is a fun activity to keep our students reading during the school break. This will require parent signatures, so if you can encourage your children to read and log their reading, they can participate in a school reward during the week of our return. Have your child check their backpacks to share the Reading Challenge sheet with you. For your convenience, we will also attach it below in case a hard copy does not arrive home!

Also, we will be sending chromebooks home tonight as directed by the District Administration. Our school district tech department will  lock the computers during the break starting on December 20th through January 2nd. If there is a need to use the chromebooks for remote learning after January 2nd, we will let families know if students will be working remotely and the chromebooks will be unlocked for student use. Students are to return the chromebooks as we resume classroom instruction after the break.
