Mrs. Nelson’s first grade class enjoyed a special book read by guest reader, Liz Livingston. This reader has started a book project that shares books from child to child and from home to home. If someone shares one of these designated books with you, read it and pass it on to a friend. This particular story is about how a big box of chocolates gets delivered to the wrong person (actually an older, lonely man). Read it and find out what happens. This book illustrates the way kindness changes everything and how mistakes can even be blessings.  Follow which students get the books shared with them and where the books go. Keep the books moving. Share some pictures of you reading them. It is called the Friendship Library Project.  Almost all of Mrs. Nelson’s students got to take a book home and then share it with a friend. Follow @FACFLP #friendshiplibraryproject
